Sometimes we take things for granted, having met people who left everything behind to be with us.
Some are even better looking, God-fearing, saved, sanctified believers, humbled and financially sound.
But they chose to sacrifice and spend their life with us.
They left everything behind family’s, friends and everything that ment a lot to them and choose to come in ourselves.
It’s a great privilege to have people like that.
Even so, did Jesus Christ leave his throne and everything he has as the son of God in heaven to become a man on earth just like you and me, to redeem us from the entanglement of every power of the enemy of God.
Though He was fully God, Jesus Christ did not cling to His Godhood as something to be used for selfish gain. But as atonement to open the door of heaven for everyone who believes in him can come through that door to be saved.
The privilege of meeting people who sacrifice to spend their lives with us should be carefully calculated with respect and love, not for selfish gains.
The connection of likes and affection should never be underestimated.
