Christmas is a gift. That’s why we share gifts in the Christmas season.

All that we need and have is given to us through one gift, Jesus Christ. Even though he might not have been born on 25th December, common sense tells us that Christmas is a celebration of the birth and gift of God to the world, Jesus Christ, he is the propitiation and mediation from our beginning to the end.

His birth, death and resurrection, paid for our shame and condemnation, to set us free.

Stop condemning yourself, stop destroying yourself and blaming yourself for whatever you’re going through today and celebrate the love and gift of God.

Receive the gift of God today. 

That is what Christmas is all about. 

Because God so loves the world that he gave us his only-begotten son, he who believes in him shall not perish but live in peace forever.

Because unto us a child has been born for us, a son is given to us; authority rests upon his shoulders; and he is named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Father of Eternity, Prince of Peace. 

That is the gift of God to the world and humanity, including you and me. 

Christmas is a gift of everlasting peace to humanity and the world.  Only those who have him enjoy him.
